Try to use PVC flat profiles for the setting up of your sports facility.
Sports performance is increasingly related to technology. In fact, technological progress has affected over time both sportswear (such as swimsuits and tracksuits) and sports gear and equipment (bicycles, skis, rackets). However, technology is also part of sports facilities, where records are broken through the commitment, determination and perseverance of athletes.
Especially in recent years, VBN has developed innovative applications in areas where performance is also connected to the employed technology.
PVC flat profile for sports fields
Among the most interesting innovations developed for the setting up of sports facilities are technical profiles and pipes made of plastic materials. This type of product is designed especially for soccer fields, tennis courts and ski slopes. In addition to their specific and high performance technical features, these products guarantee flexibility, reliability and durability.
PVC flat profiles belong to this type of products: used as field markers in tennis or applied as
tapes on other sports fields’ pavement to mark the limits of the court, soft, white-colored PVC flat profiles can be used in many different ways.
How are PVC flat profiles made and what are their main features?
Flat profiles are produced with a pad printing on the surface made as a marker in order to facilitate the insertion of the staples for the fixing on red clay. The used material is characterized by elements of rigidity and softness. This allows PVC flat profiles to stay close to the ground even during summer. Usually PVC flat profiles are available in 150 meter reels on the market: this length corresponds to the development of all the lines drawn on a sports field. All VBN profiles comply with the international standard DIN 16941 “Thermoplastics extruded profiles.”
Upon request, the production of thermoplastic semi-finished products in flat section can be completed with special processing such as inclined cuts, drilling, milling or shearing.
